Strange Star by Maggie Umber

Maggie Umber is a creative force. Her new comic, released at CAKE this year, is an accordion book that folds out to just over 10 feet. Inkjet printed, 8.5 x 11, 12 pages. Here's Maggie's summary: "On August 6, 1797, astronomer Carolina Herschel discovered the comet that heralded the birth of Mary Shelley on August 30, 1797. Carolina was the world's first professional female astronomer. She assisted her brother, William Herschel, in his careers in astronomy and music. Mary Shelley went on to write Frankenstein."
